Garden go-back: wrapping up

Sorry for the delay in getting out my last blog entry about our visit to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden!

After the fountain that you can walk through, we visited other nice areas of the gardens with winding streams, small fountains, and pretty flowers. Brad used his kaleidoscope lens filter to capture many images of the central thing in the picture all around it in a circle.

He got fountains and lots of yellow flowers (I think it was the season for yellow flowers!). He got a few of me, and I got several of him in front of a bush with purple flowers.

Next we headed to the orchid house. I love this greenhouse! It is full of orchids and tropical plants. On the way there, Brad got a picture of my shoes, which are tan mesh with flowers embroidered on them.

In the orchid house, there are lots of epiphytes, and he got some pictures of Felix and me surrounded by them. There’s a waterfall wall that we enjoyed looking at, and a hidden Asian section in the middle of the building that we posed in.

We had a rally great time at the botanical gardens, and I know we’ll be back soon! It’ll be interesting to see the plants change as the seasons change.
