This blog entry will be all about my favorite fountain at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens. It is a walk-through fountain, with jets of water on either side of a pathway, arching up and over the pathway. When you walk underneath it, you get wet—like a very heavy rain.
I had brought a shower cap to put over my joystick to protect it from water. The rest of my chair should be able to handle that much water OK!
At first when we went through the fountain, I had Felix walk next to me! He didn’t like that too much LOL! He was not pleased with getting so wet!
There are many pictures of me going through the fountain with Felix on my lap. I was laughing so much because I was having so much fun going underneath this fountain! Brad got pictures of me from the front, going through the fountain from the back, closeups of my wet face and hair with me laughing and smiling, and in all of them, a very wet Felix!
Next Brad put a kaleidoscope filter on his camera. This filter makes it so that there is one central image, with lots of smaller things of that image around it in a circle. Brad had fun taking pictures of me in the fountain with the kaleidoscope filter on!
I know I don’t have a lot to say this blog entry—it’s more about the fun I had going through this fountain over, and over, and over, and over again! I was lucky there weren’t a lot of other people there who wanted to go through this time, or I might have had to push them out of the way! I probably went through at least 10 times. Felix was less and less pleased each time LOL!
In my next blog entry, we will have the conclusion of our trip to the botanical gardens.
