About two weeks ago, I took Felix to Target to practice his auto-leave-it. This is where he looks at an item he wants to sniff, and then looks at me instead of sniffing the item. I do it by using leash tension to stop him from sniffing the item (without jerking or pulling on the leash), then I wait until he looks at me, and click and treat.
