Today we finally were able to get our updated COVID shots! We went to our favorite small family-owned pharmacy that we use for all our medications. We’ve never gotten vaccinations from them before, but they apparently don’t require appointments and they are always super fast, so we decided to try them out.
I remembered the other day that I had gotten Hestia a galaxy service dog harness before we got Alice, and I stopped using it because we couldn’t find a matching one small enough for Alice. Since that’s not an issue anymore, I was able to get out the old galaxy harness and use it on Felix!
He wore it into the pharmacy and did a pretty good job! I was walking, and he was nearly as good as usual with me walking. He did shake off several times, trying to get used to wearing a new thing. We heeled around the small store a little bit, and he did really nicely.
The pharmacy was great and very fast. We were probably there a total of about 20 minutes from when we arrived to when we left. Brad got a few pictures of Felix and me waiting in the waiting area. Felix is a sable and white Japanese Chin wearing a galaxy harness and lying down in front of me. I am wearing a blue dress with pink flowers, a dark green mask, and hot pink shoes.
After we got our shots, we headed down to Columbia to pick up the artwork Brad submitted to the state fair. It was a long drive there and back, but I was able to get a lot of stuff done on my phone that I needed to do.
When we arrived at the fair, we went to use the restroom, and then I went and picked up Brad’s pictures and brought them to the front. Apparently I was supposed to let them get the pictures, oops! So people were kind of perturbed at me, which made me feel bad. I didn’t know, though, and it wasn’t clear what you were supposed to do!
When we got home, we had to take a few pictures for Vine reviews, and I got a picture of Brad’s outfit today since we weren’t at the pharmacy long enough to get a picture of him. He is wearing hot pink pants, blue shoes, a colorful flower shirt, a black sweater, and a black hat.
