Today I had to go to the dentist to get a crown done on my tooth that had a root canal just before the pandemic started. I had put the crown off because I was concerned about the virus, but I figure it’s going to be here a while so I might as well take care of my teeth!
Yesterday the dentist office (Park Dental) called me to confirm my appointment and tell me the new COVID procedures. They said I couldn’t have anyone with me in the waiting room or in the procedure room, but made sure to let me know that Hestia was still welcome! They love her there!
The procedure took a loooooooong time, about 2.5 hours! But it wasn’t a horrible way to spend 2.5 hours. I really like Dr. Park and all the assistants. We had good conversations and I was in no pain. They all wore masks and gloves, and make sure I was as comfy as possible.
Hestia was very good for most of the visit. The last half hour she started to get antsy and kept moving around a little every few minutes. Not much, just readjusting how she was lying on my stomach.
I have to go back in 2 weeks for the permanent crown. Hestia will be pleased that visit will be much shorter!
I took a few pics while we were there, enjoy! I am a woman with long brown curly hair wearing a yellow dress. Hestia is a white and black small dog with a smushed nose and googley eyes.
