Yesterday on their way back to Ohio from Florida, Christi, her service dog in training Gabby, and her husband Jim stopped by!
We met up at Riverwalk, which has a beautiful trail next to the river. It was awesome to see Christi again and meet Gabby. We went on a short walk so that the pups could get all their energy out. It was a beautiful day out, and we had fun talking and training.
Then we headed to a local Indian restaurant for dinner. Gabby and Hestia wore matching vests! They are in different colors– Hestia’s is purple, and Gabby’s teal. But they are the same style! Slightly different sizes, though, as Gabby is a Goldendoodle and Hestia is a teeny tiny Japanese Chin!
It was so fun to hang out! I am really glad we got to see them on their way through town, and can’t wait to see them again in April with the convention coming up!
Brad got some pics of our walk and before our dinner! They are below.
I am a woman with long brown wavy hair wearing a blue dress with flowers and bees on it. Hestia is a small white and black Japanese Chin with a smushed nose and googley eyes. Christi is a woman with long hair, blue pants, and a white shirt. Gabby is a black Goldendoodle with more of a poodley haircut. Jim is a man wearing a black and white striped shirt and a grey blazer. Brad is a man in a power wheelchair wearing a green blazer, springtime tie, green and purple scarf, and pink cap.
Dr V, you’d better keep a close eye on Brad. If he keeps dressing that sharp. I’m coming to Carolina to kidnap him – he looks VERY sharp!! So happy you got to meet up with Christi, Gabby, and Jim. That river walk looks fun. When I come to steal Brad, I want to go on a walk with you on that trail first!!

Great pics! I especially like the last one.
I LOVE the photo of you and Hestia walking and smiling. She’s got the cutest front step!
