Today we had (hopefully!) my last appointment before getting insurance to approve my surgery. I had an ultrasound. Due to insurance inanities, we had to go all the way down to Lancaster to get it done. It was a long drive (40 min), but once we got there, we were completely done in less than 15 minutes!
I lay on the table, while Hestia sat on my neck and upper chest area so the technician could access my abdomen. Hestia was very good! I wanted a picture of us getting the ultrasound, but the lights were very dim in the room so it wouldn’t have turned out well. I also turned in my consent to sterilization form, which my insurance requires. They said the doctor will look at the ultrasound on Monday and then send in the request to insurance again.
On our way home, we stopped by Walmart to get meat for Ollie, grapes, and yogurt. Hestia was excellent in the store! She was heeling nicely, leaving-it every time she was asked, and did a good job of ignoring people. I only gave her about 6 treats the whole time we were in the store, mostly using praise as a motivator. I was so proud! Now if only she could do this when her doggie friends are around!
Brad got a few pictures of us in Walmart getting grapes. I am wearing holiday leggings with Corgis on them and a red shirt. Hestia is wearing her red mesh vest.
Love your pants!!
The corgis are too cute! 🙂
To me, ‘leg up’ still means someone giving you assistance to get on your horse!
🤣😁 very cool pic! A perfect holiday card!
Who is the housewife from the late 50’s with Hestia ?????
