I just got off the phone with a representative of the school who is in charge of security. He was extremely nice and I enjoyed talking with him.
He asked me for details about the guard so he could figure out which one it was. Then he apologized to me for the guard’s behavior, especially for the cussing. He said it is not representative of the school, which I agree with!
He went on to say that service animals are welcome on campus and gave me his cell number just in case I had another problem with a guard while at rehearsal. I thanked him profusely!
I am so happy that I have access to my orchestra with Hestia! All it took was a little bit of polite education!
