Today we went to Sam’s Club and I got to wear my new dress from Amazon Prime Day! It is blue eyelet lace, midi length, with bilateral ruffles down the front. Hestia wore her red mesh vest. Brad got a few pictures of us in the furniture aisle!
Overall Hestia was quite good in Sam’s. She did sniff the floor a few times… We’re working on that. She is so close to the floor that it is really easy for her to dip her head down and I don’t notice until it’s already on the floor!
I made an oopsie, though! I was holding onto her leash in my left hand and I picked up two bags of chips to put them in the cart with my right hand. One bag of chips started to fall, so I instinctively reached up to grab it and stop it from falling, and I forgot I had Hestia’s leash in that hand and I pulled her up off the ground an inch or so. I felt awful! I apologized to Hestia, but she didn’t seem to notice that anything had gone on, so that was good!
Brad is still exhausted from having to sit upright on Amtrak for those 1.5 hours. So we kept it simple. Just fruit, hummus, and salsa. I really hope he is able to recover soon! Enjoy the pictures!
