D’Artagnan joins the adventure 2

Today was three musketeers time, only today we were 4 musketeers! (The fourth to join the three musketeers was named d’Artagnan, commonly pronounced “dar-TAN-yin”.)

I started out by going over to my friend Doc’s house. He made a game about creating inventions, and we played it. It was a lot of fun! It would work well as a cooperative game, like the Family Pastimes games: https://familypastimes.com where everyone works together to win the game. We had a good time playing and talking, and then we headed over to Dan’s house.

Aaron used to live in this area and was back here for a visit, so he got to come along with us! We went to a lot of places! All of us were in good moods (5.5 or higher) so we felt like going out, getting stuff done, and having good times while doing it.

First we went to Subway for lunch. I wanted to get a salad, and the menu said that you could turn any sub into a salad. I wanted the things in the turkey bacon and guacamole wrap, so I ordered that in salad form. The person making the food said they can’t turn wraps into salads. So I just ordered a salad with turkey, bacon, and guacamole. For some reason this was more acceptable to them, so we went with it. It was really tasty!

Oh, and I forgot to say that Hestia was doing very well, and since I was doing well, she walked almost the whole outing, I only carried her for a very short time (more on that later). That was also very good for my sore neck and shoulder.

We went into Walmart, got a few things, then headed to Goodwill. I found a turquoise cardigan I liked, but it was too small. Oh well. Doc and Dan found some cool shirts, though! Dan found like 4 of them! They were very Dan shirts. Unfortunately either Hestia or I had an admirer in Goodwill who followed us around. I didn’t notice, but Doc did. Gross.

Next we went to Five Below, which is like the dollar tree, but everything is $5 or less. They had some cool stuff there, like some pink fuzzy earmuffs with cat ears! I very nearly got a stuffed rainbow llama that is about bun-lamb size, but I knew how mad Brad would be so I didn’t get it.

I am VERY proud of myself because about a quarter of the store is CANDY! I managed not to get any of it! Go me! I did cary Hestia in 5 below because the floor was quite messy. So since I didn’t feel like being on the lookout for lots of trash, I just held Hestia.

We had about a half hour left before I needed to go home, so we went back to Doc’s house and chatted and played with Madonna the guinea pig. It was a good outing, we had lots of fun.

My neck was only slightly hurting when I got home, which is great! I took a few pics of us in goodwill, and one of Doc and Madonna 🙂
