Sartorial means pertaining to clothes or fashion. Today we went to Sam’s to get some supplies before the big storm. I was wearing my new flamingo dress, and my new red wool coat. Before we went in, I took Hestia to potty near some pretty pink muhly grass. Brad got a few pictures of Hestia and me, of the sunset through the web of grass, and then a few more inside Sam’s. He even let me get a few of him, too!
After taking pics outside the store, we noticed that someone had parked in the hash marks next to our van accessible spot. When we were done in Sam’s, we came back out and the truck was still there. Somehow Brad managed to squeeeeeeze onto his ramp and get in the car. He was writing a note to the person when they came out, so we told the person to please not park in the hash marks (and why). He was very rude and short with us. Ugh.
Hestia did great in Sam’s. I didn’t need to use any treats, and she even totally ignored the black lab guide dog that we saw in the store. I was very proud of her!
Speaking of proud, I am also very proud of me for going to the pharmacy before Sam’s. I have been having an insurance related problem with my meds, and yesterday was the last day of meds that I had. So I NEEDED to pick up meds today. We pulled into the CVS parking lot, but then Brad realized that he meant to pull into the UPS parking lot next door. We decided to split up, and I went into the pharmacy by myself to sort out the meds while he took a box of Amazon returns to the UPS store! Hestia was pretty funny, she obviously thought she deserved treats because she kept repositioning in a sit every few seconds and looking at me hopefully (“maybe this sit will give me a treat!”). She was great, and I got my meds with minimal fuss.
Enjoy the pictures!
Sartorially stupendous, Team Morris!! 😀
Dat face, Empress <3
I love your red coats and Brad’s hat is awesome! Thanks for the great photos.
Glad you enjoyed them!
It’s always funny when dogs run through the gamet of behaviors that earned them treats in the past because they want one so badly. Lol
I love it when they do that!
