Veronica and Brad at the 9/11 Memorial. This part of the memorial is a square of the footprint of one of the buildings. There is water cascading over the sides, and everyone’s names who died is carved around the sides.
The view of an accessible taxi from the inside. The seats fold up and a ramp comes out the back. When you get in, there is pretty much no room to move for the passenger, and there can only be one other passenger, who needs to sit in the front.
A big red square with a silver hole through it is an interesting sculpture. Veronica wearing her frilly yellow dress and Hestia are dwarfed by it!
Veronica in yellow frilly dress with Hestia wearing yellow Hufflepuff vest sitting on the steps of an old building. Veronica is talking with a security guard who walked by.
In front of art that looks like a wavy brick building, Veronica and Brad take a selfie! Poor Hestia was forgotten in this picture!
Black and white picture of an old man crossing the sidewalk in NYC. Very poignant.
Fearless girl statue with Hestia sitting at her feet. Behind the statue, it is purple and blue trippiness that Brad added.
Veronica looks like she is dancing with the Fearless Girl statue. In reality, she is walking around the statue.
This is my favorite of the architecture pictures that Brad took. It is of the US Customs House. It is a very old building with columns, big doorway, etc. To see more pics of buildings, look in the google photo album 🙂
Veronica and Hestia, both in yellow, catch the breeze of an arriving subway train.
Black and white picture of Veronica underneath the Fulton Street subway mosaic.
The view from our hotel room during a storm. Lots of tall buildings with a low layer of clouds coming in. A flash of lightning is striking a building on the far right.
Veronica is wearing her blue flowers dress with Hestia wearing a red mesh vest. They are standing in front of a vendor’s stall in Chinatown.
Veronica smiles as she chews a yummy lotus bun!
The 9/11 memorial at nighttime. The buildings in the background are all lit up with windows, and the fountain has lighting showing off the cascading water going down the sides of the structure.
Black and white photo of Veronica and Hestia in front of the Occulus (a large white structure housing a mall type area)
Veronica in pink and orange wool dress and Hestia wearing yellow Hufflepuff vest. We are posing next to the “V” in the LOVE statue. Veronica has red shoes on.
The HOPE statue was another good backdrop. In addition to the wool dress, you can see Veronica’s new waist purse of black leather.
Veronica in a green art deco dress and Hestia in a green vest. They are posing next to the Wicked sign before watching the show!
Selfie of Brad, Veronica, and Hestia at the Wicked show.
Selfie taken of Brad in the American Museum of Natural History. Veronica is behind him, also in a wheelchair that is being towed along (Veronica had a couple of high pain days and had to borrow wheelchairs in a couple of museums).
Veronica, Brad, and Hestia are matchy-matchy with red shoes, red tops, red vest, and wheelchairs in front of a meteorite.
Brad wearing his red blazer and his driving cap (that he knitted!) in front of the Aye-aye in the museum.
This picture is for Chanda! It is of a Peregrine falcon bringing food in to feed her chicks.
A weird looking salamander type thing without legs, but with external gills on its head.
Veronica sitting crosslegged in the huge wheelchair they lent out in front of a diorama of a few giant lizards.
Black and white picture of Veronica and Hestia in wheelchair, underneath a dinosaur skeleton.
Picture mostly in black and white, with the subway lines served in yellow. This shows the entrance of the subway.
Veronica and Hestia on a bus! Picture is in black and white, and there is an old man sitting next to a very happy Veronica.
A depiction of the subway in olden times from the Museum of the City of New York.
Another picture of the entrance to the subway, this one in color and from the front.
Black and White picture of Veronica in a wheelchair from behind, interacting with a display at the museum.

Hestia looks so happy in front of train 7102! 🙂
He he he! Luckily she likes public transit, too!
*gets all nostalgic for my ol stomping grounds *sigh
that just made my night, and thank you for that, Team Morris!! <3
I didn’t know that you were a New Yorker!
always love your pictures & Hestia is sooo adorable, when finances are better I think I will get Louis a couple of different vests so he can style like Hestia does!!!
It’s so much fun to have lots of vests! Both of my first two had only one or two vests to wear. Hestia has like 6 or something, and I love it! It is nice because she doesn’t need to do disability nor carry anything so I can get cheaper vests. Oh and lots of people get small vests for puppies, and then they outgrow them, so they pass them on to me! I’ve only bought like 2 out of the 6 vests!
