Happy Halloween! Today Hestia dressed up as a bee, I was a wizard, and Brad wore a touristy shirt his parents got him from Germany that has fake suspenders on it like for lederhosen, he also wore a magic-y hat that looks kinda like a chocolate chip. #PSDPrompt for more ways our service dogs can make us laugh!
First we went to vote. Even though it has not been long since last time we were at the polling place, they had made improvements. Last time we were there, Brad got stuck because someone parked right in front of an unmarked curb cut. He wrote folks that day to ask them to fix the situation. We were pleasantly surprised to see the curb painted a bright blue, and the accessible and hash marked areas for accessible parking were repainted the same bright blue. That was fast! Of course we had to get pictures 🙂
We also got a picture of me in my Malabrigo yellow, purple, and dark green sweater as part of my costume with Hestia in front of the school. Just for Elaine J 🙂
Next we went to Earth Fare for a little grocery shopping. We got a few pictures in front of the fall apples of us in our Halloween finery. I had forgotten to bring treats with me, and Hestia was wearing a costume and not her vest, so I was worried about her behavior. She did really well! She focused on me, didn’t pull much, and generally acted like an adult dog instead of a crazy puppy he he he.
Hope you enjoy the pictures, and have a spooky night tonight!
Fantastic job on straightening out that curb problem–we do get results when we use our voices!! 😀 That picture of the three of us is def frameworthy!
Thank you!
